Brian Corrales, Sa Bom Nim, is the owner of Wasatch Martial Arts, the only Moo Duk Kwan school in the state of Utah. He brings over 30 years of martial arts experience into his classes, 20 of which where he has owned his own school. In 2010, Corrales Sa Bom Nim was appointed as Region 8’s Youth Ambassador. In that role, he teaches seminars at the regional and national level targeting children, teenagers, and young adults.
In 2011, Corrales Sa Bom Nim was appointed by the Chairman of the Technical Advisory Committee to officiate as a Regional Examiner in Region 8. In 2017, he was appointed by H.C. Hwang Kwan Jang Nim to officiate as an Assistant to the Technical Advisory Committee for the US Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation and then became a member of the Technical Advisory Committee – Digital Bu in 2019.
In 2022, Corrales Sa Bom Nim was appointed by H.C. Hwang Kwan Jang Nim as a liaison for the Heritage Program, which is dedicated to the preservation of Founder Hwang Kee’s legacy.
Corrales Sa Bom Nim has taught many seminars throughout the Rocky Mountain region and has been a multiple-time National Champion at the Soo Bahk Do National Championships. He has trained in Korea and has received instruction from both the founder of Soo Bahk Do, Hwang Kee Kwan Jang Nim and his son, H.C. Hwang Kwan Jang Nim.
